Tool Training
In order to ensure safety and proper usage, tool training is required before using certain equipment in the makerspace. This training helps familiarize you with the correct operating procedures, safety precautions, and maintenance of each tool. By completing the training, you gain the skills and knowledge necessary to use the equipment responsibly and effectively and will be certified to use it independently.

Instruction rates begin at $95/hour plus the cost of any materials. DIYcave Members receive a 20% discount.​

Private Session of an Existing Class
MAKING is the perfect activity to get your group together for fun and bonding. We love to host holiday parties, corporate groups, families, schools, bachelor and bachelorette parties and birthday parties.​
We will gladly offer any class that we currently offer, or we can develop a custom class for you. Our rate for a private session of an existing class does not change, but we do require a minimum number of people depending on the class. ​ Custom class rates vary depending on the complexity and skill level required.​

One on One Instruction to Work on a Personal Project or Learn Specific Skills
Want to learn to use a specific tool or have a project in mind and need some guidance? We offer One on One Instruction that is geared to your learning goals. We work with beginners just getting started, experienced makers looking to learn more advanced skills, and everything in between. We will work with you to create a personalized plan that is designed to include the skills or tools you want to learn. Structured around your schedule, classes can be set up on an hourly basis (2 hour minimum) or with weekly commitments.

An initial consultation will be required to discuss your project before we schedule shop time. Consultation and Instruction rates begin at $95/hour plus the cost of any materials. DIYcave Members receive a 20% discount.
