In April, our Steward Project was making fun hand salad tongs for a fundraiser for the Jordon’s Syndrome Foundation. Jordon’s Syndrome is a very rare genetic mishap that causes severe intellectual and physical handicaps in children. The fundraiser’s goal was to raise over $250,000 to go towards research for a cure, and we’re happy to report back, they raised $375,000 for the cause. The Steward’s handmade salad hands were added to silent auction items that featured cooking, kitchen, and wine.
